An opportunity card is a new regulated way of attracting skilled workers from non-EU countries to Germany. With the implementation of this new type of visa, skilled professionals can qualify based on the points they acquire and can move to Germany for a period of 12 months. During these 12 months, they can search for jobs as well as work part time to earn their living.
